One Licensed Plumber, Every Job in the House
A to Z Plumbing is a residential plumber working the West Sound and the Kitsap Peninsula, from Silverdale and Port Orchard down to Belfair and across the bridges into Gig Harbor. Sixteen services sit under this page: water heaters and tankless, drains and sewer, repipes and leak work, filtration and softeners, remodel and new construction plumbing, fixtures, gas lines, sump pumps, backflow assemblies, and same-day emergency calls. One year on parts and labor covers all of it.

What We Handle,
and What We Send Elsewhere
A to Z Plumbing is a residential shop. Alex Cady is a Washington-certified residential specialty plumber, third generation in the trades, and he started the company in August 2022 under his grandfather’s name. That certification covers houses, duplexes, and residential buildings up to three stories tall, which is exactly the work we take.
There are things we don’t take, and it’s easier to say so here than after you’ve made the call. Interior commercial plumbing sits outside the license. Annual backflow testing is a separate certification we don’t hold, so that goes to a tester we’ve partnered with for years. Septic system installation isn’t ours either, though we clear backups and clogged baffles on septic-served homes constantly.
Everything else on this page is ours, right across the peninsula and over the bridges into Mason and Pierce, from Belfair up to Poulsbo, none of it requiring a boat.
Water Heaters
Tank replacement, repair, and the annual flush that keeps one alive past its warranty. We install Bradford White and A.O. Smith, strap and vent to Washington code, and the old tank leaves with us.
Navien conversions and repairs, including the gas and venting changes a real switch to tankless needs. On well water we set the descaling interval to match what your water does to the heat exchanger.
Drains and Sewer
Kitchen lines, tubs, and mains, including backups and clogged baffles on septic served homes. We cable the line, then camera it when the clog looks like a symptom of something larger.
Alex built the jetter we run. For grease, roots, and clogs that keep coming back, jetting strips the pipe back to bare walls. Multi drain jobs are priced by the drain, so the third one costs less than the first.
Camera scoping, cleanout access, repair, and sewer main installation. Clay and cast iron are common in the older parts of the county, and a scope before a sale settles the argument about who pays.
Pipes and Leaks
Slab leaks, pinholes in copper, and the ones hiding behind a wall. Acidic well water is hard on copper across much of Kitsap, so a pinhole is rarely the only one. We say so before you decide how to fix it.
Whole home repipes and single run replacements in PEX or copper, plus undersized water services that never gave the house enough pressure to begin with. Most repipes happen with the family still living there.
Water Quality
Well water across unincorporated Kitsap is untreated unless you treat it. We test first, read it against the Kitsap 5 panel the health district asks for, and size the system to your numbers.
Softeners specified after the test, not before it. Scale is what fouls cartridges and shortens valve life, and when a house needs both a softener and a filter, the order they sit in matters.
Remodel and
New Construction
Rough in through trim out on full guts and layout changes. Around eight have been ADU and multi bathroom conversions. Framing, drywall, and paint go to our general contractor, so you aren't holding two bids that blame each other.
Rough ins, trim out, and the inspection that has to be cleared before the next trade can start. Four years, no failed inspections. Builders call us because the schedule holds.
Repairs and Fixtures
Toilets, faucets, disposals, shower valves, hose bibs, and the shut off valve nobody thinks about until it won't turn. A two hour fixture call gets the same shoe covers as a repipe.
Specialty
and Emergency
New runs, extensions, and repairs, sized for the appliance and the length of the run. Every line gets permitted and pressure tested before anything is connected to it.
Pumps, floats, and discharge lines for crawl spaces that take on water every winter. A backup pump on its own float keeps a November outage from becoming a December crawl space.
RPZ and double check assemblies, usually for irrigation and other cross connections your water purveyor has flagged. We install them. Annual testing is a separate certification we don't hold, so that part goes to a tester we've partnered with for years.
Burst lines, active leaks, and no water at all. Same day slots stay open for these between 7 AM and 7 PM on weekdays. We're not a 24 hour shop, and saying so beats missing a call we promised to take.
Not Sure Which
Service You Need?
Most people call describing what the house is doing, not what the fix is called. Here’s where the common ones land.
